California, here we come...
Yay! Good episode tonight.
Things To Love
1. Sandy/Kirsten cuteness! ;)
2. Sandy in general. Whether he's telling off Kirsten's sis or helping Ryan out, I *heart* this guy.
3. Funny!Luke -- well, maybe not love, but this is the first ep during which I've actually enjoyed the guy. I found his guitar playing to be hilarious.
4. Jimmy. I like this guy, even if he's not the most put together guy ever. The "Sorry" joke was cute.
5. The Golden Girls theme song scene between Anna and Summer, and the bit at the end. (As an aside, poor Summer. She may not be my favorite character, but I did feel bad for her.)
Things Not To Love
1. Marissa's Treatment of Ryan. Dude, could you not notice that my poor Ryan looked pretty uncomfortable when you were all hanging out at Oliver's? (Yes, he's my Ryan. Along with my Seth. Sandy is still Kirsten's, though.)
2. Oliver. The guy creeps me out, and not in a sexy, thrilling, or remotely exciting way.
3. No Julie. I actually didn't notice it too much during the ep, though, surprisingly enough. Looks like we'll be seeing her next week, though... yay!
There's probably more I could say, but those are the first few somewhat jumbled thoughts that came to mind.
I'm becoming addicted to General Hospital spoilers. Which is odd, considering I rarely watch the show these days. Strange.
crazyjay mentioned the other day in her lj about what a great job Martin Spanjers has been doing on 8 Simple Rules, and I agree. He's had more of a chance to shine this year, and I think he's been excellent at both the drama and the comedy. I wonder if he felt embarrased doing this last ep, though. ;)
Oh, and I'm feeling better than I did earlier today. =)

I was thinking the same thing.
It's just sad that, well, for him to get more exposure-that it's due to...wah...John's death.

I know. I almost mentioned that in my post. :(
At least, from everything I read, John Ritter would be very proud of the work Martin's doing. :\

I don't think Martin was that embarrassed but maybe that's just me. lol
And I love GH spoilers, well ABC soap spoilers in general. I'm addicted to them too. When I have time I check the spoiler sites to see if they updated. lol Sometimes just by reading the spoilers you are up to date. No real need to watch the show. lol

Good point! I miss their scenes together, too. Although I think John had great acting chemistry with all the family members, and also with Kyle. (I loved how Kyle called him "Papa H.")

I agree. It's a great way to keep up, lol.

Yeah, that was cool. What happened to Kyle and Damian, anyway? They haven't been on since the Thanksgiving episode.

I'm probably the most interested in AMC right now. I like OLTL, and I love Michael Easton (and Matt Ashford), but I'm not happy about the direction of the Blair and Walker/Todd storyline.

I love Michael Easton on OLTL. I enjoy him more on OLTL than PC. I liked Caleb...but OLTL seems even more natural for him. oops...rambling!

I agree, the actor has done a great job in the role (of Walker and Todd). At first I hated that they made Walker be Todd, but I had gotten used to it and even appreciated being able to have the character back on the canvas. Until this rape stuff, that is.
I also agree that the OLTL role is more natural for ME. However, I have a thing for vampires, especially Caleb, so it'd be hard to top my love for him. ;)

Okay, sorry.
I think one of The O.C.'s strong points is the fact that the adults' half of the show is just as interesting as the kids' half. But yeah, no Julie :(
This episode made me wish I was a Golden Girls fan too :)

*g* Actually, I think your icon says it all. ;)
I'm glad you got to see the episode -- weren't you behind in watching them at one point? (Or maybe that was just me.)
