"Robert Warner, you are evil in a can."

A *lot* of Anita's lines this episode have been heavy on the cheese factor, but I think that one takes the cake.

(Don't get me wrong; I actually really like Anita. I think the actress is a doll. I'm just not particularly fond of much of her dialogue sometimes.)

Yay, Amber!!! I am so excited for Amber Tamblyn's Emmy nomination. How awesome is that? *g*

Anyway, I'm watching All My Children right now, and Jonathon just said to Kendall, "You're acting about five kinds of crazy right now" (I think that was the wording).

Which of course made me think of Casey's "You are about five different kinds of crazy, you know that?" to Dana on Sports Night.

Hee!

Happy Birthday, [livejournal.com profile] myso_calledlife!

Also, Happy Belated Birthday to [livejournal.com profile] spiffydaze (I'm so sorry I missed it!).

Edited To Add: My Spring Break officially starts in four and a half hours! Yay!

Edited Again To Add: Wow. The Richie/Ralph exchange on Happy Days just now was very Dan/Casey. Or maybe everything reminds me of Dan/Casey.

I'm so going to be late to my nine o'clock class.

Spoilers for 'The Heights,' The O.C. )

I know I'm constantly saying this, but I'm very much behind on reading everyone's journals, and I feel horrible about that. :(

School is school, blah blah blah. Joan Of Arcadia was fabulous -- I enjoyed it so much more this time around than before. I'm also becoming a big Luke/Grace fan.

I'm completely psyched for the Super Bowl -- I love my Panthers! =) (Sorry, but I'm obsessed.)

Also, I saw part of Thursday's debate for the upcoming Democratic primary in South Carolina. John Kerry reminds me so much of some actor on television, but I can't figure out who it is. It's been driving me crazy since then, though. *shrugs*

Okay, I think I've rambled enough for now. Have a great night, everyone!

Sports Night Quote Of The Day:

Dan: I read Beowulf in three hours.
Casey: How'd you read Beowulf in three hours?
Dan: I didn't read it, really, but I saw the movie.
Casey: Ah, but there's no movie for Beowulf.
Dan: What the hell movie did I see?

I'm trying to decide between two classes to take, which is stressful for me, because I don't want to choose the *wrong* class. Then again, they'll all most likely be impossible.

I dreamed last night that I was raped (nothing graphic -- the dream mostly dealt with my reactions and such), and now I'm a little freaked out.

I need to eat breakfast, get dressed, and, you know, start my day, and yet I'm still sitting here...

...here on Dan and Casey's Dance Fever!

Sorry, had to end whoever was talking just now on ESPN with a quote from Sports Night.

Speaking of SN, after talking to [livejournal.com profile] gpsysngbrd, I found my old tape (back from when it aired on ABC!) of Cliff Gardner. Cut in the off chance you don't want spoilers from an episode that was first shown four years ago... )

Well, I better go do homework, since I was planning on getting started fifteen minutes ago. Um, a few random remarks since I'm stalling... ;)

- Another World... )

- WKRP... )

- Alias... )

Edited because I talk too much. Must go study, but hope everyone is doing well. :)

I watched Ed tonight, and wow! I really enjoyed it. It wasn't what I expected, at all, but that's a good thing, right? Yay for being original.

Plus (and this is a big reason why I loved it so much, although Ed and Carol are adorable in their own right), I could completely see Dana and Casey from Sports Night in a similar situation. Maybe a few seasons down the road from when the show ended, but still. *sigh*

Now, snagged from [livejournal.com profile] dani_ellie (thanks!):

Obsession Test )

Also, for 8 Simple Rules fans, some Kaley Cuoco (Bridget on 8 Simple Rules) fans made an appreciation card for the cast, in case anyone wanted to sign it.

Okay, should be off to bed now so I can get up incredibly early and struggle to finish my number theory homework. Fun. :P

I'm very behind on reading everyone's journals, comments, etc., so maybe you guys have all already seen this, but I thought I'd post it anyway.

Guess The Sit-Com Character!

I've only tried it once, but they nailed Dana from Sports Night. *g*

Edited to add: They did think Miranda from Lizzie McGuire was Lizzie, though. Of course, that was probably my mistake.

I went shopping with my mom yesterday for my father's birthday present (Homicide DVDs). Before we left the store I made her stop so that I could check out the Sports Night DVD set. I picked up, examined the box, and just about started drooling. I just about bought it right then and there, despite the fact that I *so* don't have the money to do that right now.

I read Max's interview last week with Brian Gaskill (Rafe, PC; soon-to-be Scar(?!?), B&B) online (this link may or may not work), and I've been thinking about some of Gaskill's comments since then. Click here to read my long, rambling thoughts on soulmates and television characters. )

Well, I've successfully put off talking about my real life yet again. I'm moving back into the dorms tomorrow, so hopefully that'll go okay. One last thing: Guiding Light was good today, better than it's been in a while. So, yay. :)

Edited to add that the link goes to a Cameron Mathison interview. Sorry!

You represent... angst.
You represent... angst.
You have an extremely cynical outlook on just about
everything. It's okay to sulk and be
depressed, but life is short, and you only get
one. It's only what you make it, and only you
can make it improve.

What feeling do you represent?

Ah, angst. No big shock there. Except for the fact that I'm bouncing off the walls sometimes, singing and dancing. Sometimes, but not a lot of times, a few times, several times. I'm off the wall about half the time.

(Okay, that was my poor attempt to paraphrase Casey from the Sports Night episode "Intellectual Property," one of my three favorite episodes, along with "Special Powers" and "The Apology," in case you were wondering.)

Okay, I haven't been on in a while, so I'm not really sure where to start. There are some not-so-great things going on in my life right now, but I'm not ready to write about it yet. (Not that anyone's reading this, but at times I'm not very comfortable about opening up.) So, I suppose I'll just mention some other stuff.

I went out of town this past weekend, which was fun, although I wish some of my other friends could have come. After crashing at the hotel Saturday night, we caught some of I Love The 80's. It's beyond me why I haven't watched more of it before now. My favorite part, I think, was seeing clips from Married With Children, all the way back from 1987.

Speaking of television, maybe it's just me, but there's been a lot of slashiness going on lately. Of course, that's mostly because last night I watched Sports Night, home of slashy goodness. ;) Then again, Jack and Craig almost slept together on ATWT today (in a sleeping bag in front of Jack's soon-to-be little stepson, mind you), but they just don't have the chemistry of Dan and Casey. ;) Actually, I don't really care much for the slash (honest!), but every now and then you can't help but notice the subtext. Any other slashy non- couples that just jump off the screen at anyone?

Stolen from... um, someone... I don't remember. (I'm so bad!)
