As is often the case on Saturdays, I intended to write, but that didn't happen. However, I have spent much of the afternoon reading some amazing Get Smart fic. I actually fell in love with the fic and the Team Smart universe (and Austin Parker!) years ago, but I think I enjoy it even more now.

Speaking of Get Smart, I just read that the 1995 new Get Smart series, the one on FOX, will be released on DVD. Even though it's not as good as the original (what is?), I'm so buying it. :)

I need to get to bed -- I have lots of studying ahead of me this weekend, and I'm quite exhausted -- but I think I'm going to stay up a bit longer and read A Wrinkle In Time, which I checked out of the library a couple of days ago. (I'm enjoying it so much!)

Although I'm watching Daria right now, I've been watching a little of the I Love Lizzie marathon. I'd forgotten how much fun some of the episodes are.

I saw half of the Tad The Cad marathon earlier today, and got a big kick out of seeing Dorothy Lyman as Opal. :)

I just learned that Alan Oppenheimer (the voice of Alistair Crane on Passions) was on Get Smart, which made me extremely excited. I also found out My So-Called Life will be coming to The N -- yay!

8 Simple Rules was awesome Tuesday, as was Scrubs.

I guess that's it for the fannish, and I don't feel like talking about real life because a Lizzie episode I've never seen is coming on, so, ta! :) Have a great rest of the weekend, everyone!

John Fox (coach of the Carolina Panthers) just referenced Maxwell Smart on ESPN.

Fox is my hero.

In other news...

My Soap DVD/Michael Easton book came yesterday. Yay! I didn't have access to our DVD player yesterday, but I'm so watching it tonight. I really like Michael's book, though. I mean, in one of his poems he made a reference to my all-time favorite show, Get Smart. How cool is that? *g*

I'm still behind on replying to some people's journals (and to the comments on my own), so I apologize for that. Unfortunately I've got to get offline in a few minutes, seeing as I'm extremely behind on schoolwork. *sigh*
