raisingirl99According to pavanbadal at Sitcoms Online, James Garner (in at least four episodes) and Suzanne Pleshette (in at least one ep) will be playing Cate (Katey Sagal)'s parents in 8 Simple Rules, once the show returns. I love both those actors, so I'm looking forward to seeing them.
Well, not so much looking forward to seeing them, because I'm kind of dreading "Good-bye" (the Nov. 4 episode where the Hennessy family deals with the loss of their father), but I'll definitely be turning in.
