Here's a link to how a handful of Port Charles cast members wanted the show to end, thanks to the always interesting [livejournal.com profile] rebeccastaabfan. I liked Erin Hershey Presley's comment the most.

"I'm not sure if it would be my ending or a number of characters' endings but we always said it would be a good idea for someone to wake up from a coma and say, 'Oh my God, I had this terrible nightmare that...'Bll of the friends and family was there saying that it was a hallucination. And when they would all leave the room, have Caleb come out and go... [She laughs in a sinister way] and then close the door. And fade to black -- so you never really know if it was true or not. I think Brian Gaskill came up with that, and I stole it from him." -- Erin Hershey Presley

I think that would be awesome. Too bad they can't go back and just film that one episode.

Actually, I had wanted the ending to be that Caleb somehow wished he had never returned (or come in the first place) and that Livvie was back (or still) with Jack. Not that I wanted her with Jack; I just thought it would be a tragic yet heroic ending if Caleb realized that she was better off without him and wanted the best for his true love. I guess it would have to be that he had never come back, though, because I wouldn't have wanted it that Rafe had never come to Port Charles.

Whatever. I guess it doesn't matter now. I'm glad we were able to enjoy Port Charles for as long as it was on the air, even if I wish it had been able to continue for years to come.

Now, because you all know how much I look like Halle Barry:

Halle Berry plays Raisingirl99, who is brokenhearted after being stood up at her wedding. She meets Christina (Famke Jannsen), who gives her an offer she couldn't refuse. She has an affair with Christina's assistant Ronnie, played by Shane West. Ronnie dies of cancer, and the doctor, Chris (Ben Affleck), helps Raisingirl99 get over the pain.

I watched (and loved) Joan of Arcadia, Hope & Faith, and Life With Bonnie last night.

I thought Hope & Faith was much better than last week's (not that it was dreadful last week, though). The funeral scene was hilarious. I am loving Kelly Ripa in this! Her little outburst about being the lady's illegitimate love child with Frank Sinatra was great. As a daytime television viewer, I love the soap references, too. Being married five times, courtroom outbursts, shocking secrets... come on, we've seen it all. All the time. *g* Anyway, I think I'm going to like having this show on Fridays as a silly release to the stress of the past week.

Joan of Arcadia was wonderful, but I think I liked last week's episode better. I guess I wish the focus was more on Joan. Or Joan's older brother. Either brother, really. Basically, I don't particularly care for the "adult" plotlines. It's a reaction I've had in the past, to shows like My So-Called Life and Dawson's Creek. (That's why it's so odd that the O.C. is the complete opposite. It's the teens, except for Seth, who tend to bore me, while I'm all caught up in the parents' storylines.)

Bottom line, though? I love Joan of Arcadia. I'm psyched it did well last week in the ratings, and I hope it did great last night, too.

Well, I'm off to read a little fan fic and then (eventually) get started on my homework. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Thank you very much for considering me *interesting*! LOL ;)

I didn't like Brian's ending, I wouldn't want Rafe to leave. I love your ending though, it's great!

I totally missed TGIF last night because I was out shopping!! I'm so mad because I wanted to see Hope & Faith ...well, there's always next week! About Life With Bonnie (lets go with LWB?) was the daughter back on or not?

You're welcome! ;) Oh, and thanks for liking my ending! :)

I didn't see the daughter on LWB, neither the opening credits nor the show. They didn't mention anything about her, though... do you think they're going to recast her later on or something?

Maybe ..that is so strange though, the show doesn't seem like the kind of show that would just forget someone like that lol! Something has to come up sooner or later.

Erin's probably would be the ultimate ending. You know...having the audience choose for themselves what's real and what isn't. But I also found Eddie's comment funny. I love him. Of course he'd want Ricky to conquer PC's women. LOL Love him! I always had a soft spot for Ricky. Thanks for posting that! :)

Yes, H&F was much better tonight. I guess less stress because it's not the pilot and they don't have to try so hard. I find things are better when you don't try too hard. You can't force things. Does that make sense? lol

And Joan is great. I'm not sure which episode I thought was better. Last weeks and last nights both were good. I loved it when her father turned off the tv and then she was right in front the tv trying to get God to talk to her. lol

Just curious, who did you want Joey to end up with on Dawson's?

And good luck with the homework! Have a good weekend! :)

I thought Eddie's comments were so funny, too. In several interviews/articles I've read, he's commented on wanting Ricky to be in love scenes with all the women, lol.

That makes complete sense. Actually, one show I've seen somewhat recently (That's So Raven -- it's on Disney and stars the little girl who used to be known as Raven-Symone

I find things are better when you don't try too hard. You can't force things. Does that make sense?

That makes complete sense. Actually, one show I've seen somewhat recently (That's So Raven -- it's on Disney and stars the little girl who used to be known as Raven-Symone <sp?> and played Olivia on The Cosby Show) springs to mind. They have potentially funny situations and good actors, but the show just doesn't do it for me. It's like they're trying to hard to be some slapstick comedy, but it'd be better if it seemed more natural. Sorry to go off on something of a tangent about a random show... :)

I loved it when her father turned off the tv and then she was right in front the tv trying to get God to talk to her.

Oh, that was great. I *loved* that. :)

Just curious, who did you want Joey to end up with on Dawson's?

Good question, lol.

Let's see. I wanted Joey with Dawson at first (as did many people). When the show started going in the direction of Joey/Pacey, though, I thought it sounded great. I was so mad/disappointed when they broke up.

Then the reruns came on TBS, and I fell in love with first season Joey/Dawson all over again. I was a little sad that Joey didn't choose Dawson in the end, although I liked the way the writers handled it in the finale. (Except that I couldn't watch the finale because it seemed too sad at the time -- I think I'll catch it when it comes around on reruns on TBS.)

Speaking of the reruns, once they got back to Joey/Pacey, I was like, "Forget Dawson!" So, basically, I'm a fan of her with both Pacey and Dawson, but I'd rather see her with Pacey than with Dawson. (Huh. I should have just said that to begin with, right? ;))
