Still haven't been reading people's journals and such (I apologize and am looking forward to having the time to do so), but I wanted to post about this (at least briefly):
The episode ended minutes ago, and I just got done wiping the tears off my keyboard. Beautiful ending montage of Ritter in 8 Simple Rules. He is, and will continue to be, so missed.
As for the episode, I thought it was hilarious, and I'm glad. I actually screamed with laughter at one point (I don't remember from what, although it was probably at Bridget) and spit out my food (sorry, I know that's gross) at another. Of course, as always, everyone was fantastic, but Kaley Cuoco in particular was wonderful. (Though it is a shame that it couldn't have been a more Paul-centric episode, but who knew?) I think my favorite part was Bridget wishing Donny good luck at war during her video break-up with him.
Well, that's all I have to say right now. I don't know why I felt compelled to mention this; I guess it's just a good way to get things out.
We love you, John Ritter.
