I had such a relaxing day yesterday. Did next to no work (which was probably a big mistake), but had a lot of fun. Got up, messed around online a bit, went to church, watched the Fox pregame show, a couple of football games (see my last entry ;)), then my tape of last week's Alias and this week's Alias episode.

Without being spoiler-y, I will say that I'm absolutely loving Alias right now. Sure, I have my issues with it, but after watching two eps in a row yesterday I was like, "Is that all?!?" I don't think I've ever felt that way about the show before.


Syd/Weiss!!! The copy of Alice in Wonderland! How adorable are they? I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we'll be seeing more and more of them interacting, even if it's all platonic.

Then again, as couples go, if I'm not watching two people become more than friends, then I want some good ol' enemies-turned-lovers. Which is where Sark steps in. ;)

Since I'm on fall break, I'll finally have a chance to watch my soaps "live". I guess I'll be watching Young & The Restless at 12:30. Strange.

I hope everyone is doing okay! (Actually, I hope everyone is doing great, but I'll take okay. What can I say? I'm a pessimist. :))

(Although smiling after admitting I'm a pessimist probably implies that I'm not a very good pessimist...)

How adorable are they?

Seriously adorable! It seems kind of like they *are* headed into the non-platonic territory, but then I always thought she had that vibe with Will, too, and it never really went beyond friendship with them. I told celli, Weiss has kind of taken Will's place in her life, which makes me sad in a way since it also makes me miss Will more, but it's great that she has another supportive friend now that Will's in Witness Protection. And she and Weiss are just so cute and sweet together! If he spends any more time at her place, he might as well just sell his. ;-)

Oh, can that please happen? I love the thought of that! *g* I agree, Weiss has sort of taken Will's place in her life. I wonder if, had Will somehow not left the canvas, the Syd/Weiss interaction and overall goodness would be happening right now. Like, would the writers have thought, Syd doesn't need two Wills, or would they have shown Will getting jealous at Syd's budding friendship?

LOL. Well, I have no control over it, but maybe if you concentrate really hard on that idea, one of the Alias PtB will take the hint.

Hmm. That's a good question. I think the second is the somewhat more likely possibility, partly because Weiss knows Vaughn much better and can therefore better understand what's happening on a daily basis. Will would have to endure her pining over someone else while he might still carry a bit of a torch for her, and my guess would be that he'd sublimate his jealousy and other issues regarding that into jealousy of the budding Syd&Weiss friendship. Wow, that would have been interesting to watch.... ::sighs and misses Will some more::
