Super Bowl Thoughts...

First of all, I apologize for going on and on here about the Panthers over the last month or so. I'll try to keep any future rants to an lj-cut, so if they're not your favorite team in the world, you don't have to see it.

As for today... congrats to the Patriots and their fans for a great season and the victory last night.

I'm disappointed, of course, but I'm still really proud of the Panthers for all of their accomplishments. I love the players so much -- they have an amazing amount of heart.

As for now, I have studying/homework to do, but I'd much rather be reading the 90+ briefly skimmed entries on my friends list. :\

Being from NC, the loss felt personal.

I'm from SC, so I get that. Thanks for understanding, although I wish we could be sharing a more positive experience. :\

Btw, did I see you mention in your journal some time that you knew Ricky Proehl?

Yes, I went to college with Ricky at WFU. So I've watched him a loooong time.
